DENVER- After a summer full of wildfires and drought, black bears across the United States are breaking into homes and raiding garbage cans to get food. As hibernation for the bears draws closer, it is evident that the bears are trying to get the nourishment they need for the winter-long nap. People have been urged to use bear-proof garbage cans to ward off the bears.
